Job descriptions
A job description is a document that clarifies what needs to be done and what will be expected of the incumbent. Every time you change positions you need to ensure that you have a copy of the job description for the previous position. It can be quite difficult to remember all your duties in previous positions. Good luck to all our "matric readers" and may you enjoy this last year of school. Remember that it is important to speak to a career guidance counsellor while still in school. You will then have the luxury of taking the right subjects for what you want to study after school. It is almost impossible to know all the choices out there and it is here where a professional will be able to help you.

There are a number of career guidance options around the country:
- Boston City Campus and Business College offers free counselling.
- A university or college close to you might also be able to assist.
- Some psychologists do offer psychometric testing and career guidance.
