Send the interviewer a Thank You letter, thanking them for the interview as well as their time. You can then use the next paragraph to clarify something or mention any point that you might have missed in the interview.

Remember that this is another opportunity to show off your communication skills. Very few candidates send thank you letters and this will assist you in standing out and being remembered.

Keep the letter to one page, ensure there are no spelling mistakes and send the letter the same day or the next morning.
